Stilwell Summer Film Series
After a long week of roppin' cattle and workin' in the hot sun, come water your horses and put your spurs up for free films on Fridays in July.
If you haven't guessed, this year we're bringing the wild wild west to southern Johnson County with 4 Western inspired films. Starting with the classic Rio Bravo on July 8th and ending with a bang with Star Wars Episode IV, we promise to provide entertainment for the entire family each Friday.
2011 Schedule:
July 8: Rio Bravo
July 15: Bandidas
July 22: Rango
July 29: Star Wars Episode IV
All films start at dusk on the southern wall of Stilwell United Methodist Church (19335 Metcalf Ave). All films are screened outside, so bring chairs and/or blankets. In case of bad weather, films will be moved indoors. Popcorn is free, and other food and drink are available by donation.
